Kakinada to get 100-bed ESI hospital

Union Minister for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday laid foundation stone for Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Sub-Regional Office building at Moramupudi Junction here.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Dattatreya said that they were going to have their own sub-regional offices in the country to serve employees better.

He appealed to the employees to use online system instead of coming to EPFO offices.

He said that he had agreed to the request of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to sanction 100-bed ESI hospital to Kakinada as it was listed as one of the 100 Smart Cities in the country and also a lot of industrial activity is going on.

City MLA Akula Satyanarayana, Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary and MLC Somu Veerraju participated in the function.

Regional Provident Fund Commissioners P. Veerabhadra Swamy, Karthikeya Singh along with EPFO Central Member Malla Jagadeeswara Rao also participated.
