The flexi boards and banners carrying the portraits of N.T. Rama Rao and Junior NTR by the YSRC leaders in Krishna district during the walkathon of YSRC leader, Y.S. Sharmila, has touched off angry protests by the NTR and Junior NTR fans at several places on Friday in Chittoor, Kuppam, Madanapalle, Pakala, Punganuru, Bangarupalem in Chittoor district.

Effigies burnt

The irate fans and some TDP cadres reportedly burnt the effigies and pictures of some prominent YSRC leaders of Krishna district, charging that it was an insult to carry the portrait of a spotless leader like N.T. Rama Rao in the wall posters and flexi boards/banners along with that of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Jaganmohan Reddy, who were known for their scams and alleged quid pro quo deals.
