Protesting strongly against the party high command for its fast-paced moves for division of the State, Congress MLA from Tadipatri J.C. Diwakar Reddy on Saturday said the Central leadership had buried the party in Andhra Pradesh for its own political gains.
Speaking to mediapersons, he lauded Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for writing bold letters to the President and the Prime Minister for the cause of united AP.
Secret deal
He further said, there are innumerable evidences to show that the Congress has cut a secret deal with the YSR Congress. The party has directly supported the ‘Samaikhya Sankharavam’, the pro-united Andhra meet held by YSR Congress in Hyderabad. “There has been a clear match-fixing between Jagan and the high command”.
“Over 14 trains have been diverted to facilitate YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s meet today. Unmindful of several other factors, the high command forged a secret tie-up with YSRC for power at the Centre in the forthcoming elections,” Mr. Diwakar Reddy said.
Mysterious
In the same breath, he said there was nothing wrong in Jagan getting bail but the CBI giving him almost a clean chit was mysterious as nothing was proved so far.
Responding to a query on whether disciplinary action might be taken against the Chief Minister, he said, “He did nothing wrong and only pointed out that the Centre was not following procedures laid down in the Constitution.”
