Jail for two drunk drivers

Two persons who were caught for drunk driving were sentenced to five days of imprisonment, here on Tuesday.

Special Metropolitan Magistrate V. Subbalakshmi sentenced Ch. Ravi Prasad, an auto driver, who was caught on April 9 by the Two Town Traffic police for drunk driving, to five-day imprisonment and was slapped a fine of Rs. 50.

In another case, Fifth Metropolitan Magistrate M. Venkat Rao, sentenced M. Trinadh Rao, a lorry driver, who was caught on April 12 near Shantipuram Junction, by Fourth Town police, for five-day imprisonment and was slapped a fine of Rs. 50.
