Jagan’s supporter ends life

A youth has committed suicide reportedly seeking the release of YSRC president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. The incident took place at Gandhi Nagar of Medak town late Tuesday night and came to light on Wednesday.

According to sources, K. Subhakar alias Banti (28) was fan of Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy. In the past, he had climbed a tower and threatened to jump from it when Jaganmohan Reddy was arrested by the police. Subhakar ended his life by hanging himself at his house. He was married 14 days ago.

Medak Circle Inspector L. Vijaya Kumar said that Mr. Subhakar had attempted to jump from a cell tower in the past when Jagan was arrested and a case was registered against him . The workers of the YSRC showed a letter to the police reportedly recovered from the pocket of Subhakar, in which he claimed that he was ending his life, demanding the release of Mr Jaganmohan Reddy, he added. On Tuesday, Subhakar attended a party meeting where Mr. Jagan arrested was discussed. An emotionally charged Subhakar came home and locked himself in a room and took the extreme step.
