Jagan’s road show draws crowd

YSRC president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s roadshow in this town, known as the bastion of the TDP, got an overwhelming response on Friday.

People thronged the roads to have a glimpse of the young leader, and the road show was delayed by more than an hour at every centre.

On the third day of Jagan’s East Godavari tour on Friday, Mr. Jagan started the roadshow, along with a huge convoy and followers, mostly women from the Backward Classes.

YSRC Municipal Chairman candidate and industrialist Vegulla Pattabhi Ramaiah Chowdary and other leaders followed Mr. Jagan who got a rousing welcome at Raja Ratna Center, SC, ST colonies, Suryapeta Cheruvu, Kondapplivari Street till afternoon. After taking short break for half an hour, the convoy started from Radham Center and reached Kaluvapuvvu Center late in the evening. Mr. Jagan will visit Gollaprolu on Saturday.
