YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy will remain in jail with a special CBI court on Monday extending his judicial custody till June 25 in the disproportionate assets case.
Mr. Reddy was in Central Bureau of Investigation’s custody from June 3-7 and the Andhra Pradesh High Court had extended his custodial interrogation with the central agency for two days on Friday last.
Mr. Reddy was produced before the court of principal judge for CBI cases here on Monday.
The court had earlier issued PT (Prisoner on Transit) warrant against Mr. Reddy and summoned others accused to appear before it, after it took cognisance of second and third charge sheets filed by the CBI against Mr. Reddy and others, in the alleged disproportionate assets case.
CBI officials, who took custody of the Kadapa MP from Chanchalguda Central prison, are said to have grilled him over the “conspiracy that had been detected in foreign countries and had a long trail.”
39-year-old Reddy was arrested on May 27 by the central agency after his three-day questioning at the Dilkusha guest house over alleged investments to the tune of several crores from various individuals and companies into his businesses, for the favours granted by the then Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy regime during 2004-09.
In its three charge sheets filed against Jagan and others, the CBI alleged that he and his father had hatched a conspiracy to defraud the government with Mr. Reddy influencing his late father in doling out certain favours to various investors, who made investments of several crores into Mr. Reddy’s businesses.

it is time to stop corruption in our countryfor betterment of people and devlop trust in government.
If Jagan commit a mistake... use his money to labour and poor children education.
I hope they extend his custody periodically till he is sentenced! The gall of this man! Looting the state shamelessly and now pleading to be voted to be the CM! Justice must be served!
Jagan learn something from Nitish kumar cm of Bihar, We know that Bihar is famous for factionalism but he removed every thing and the state has development rate of 13.1 in 2012-13 but you are increasing factionalism in Rayalasima you are not a leader you are a faction leader.
government should use jagan's money in hospital and education
CBI should takeover the illegal money which Jagan earned through criminal and illegal activity and use that money for welfare of AP. Jagan is criminal background oriented politican and people of Andhra should not elect this kind of persons.
