In a bid to seek support from various parties for keeping the State united, YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy left for Delhi on Friday to meet top leaders of the CPI (M), CPI and BJP.

Accompanied by five other party functionaries, including Mekapati Rajmohan Reddy and M.V. Mysura Reddy, he is scheduled to meet CPI (M) and CPI leaders on Saturday and BJP national president Rajnath Singh on Sunday. In the event of the court relaxing the bail conditions, the party delegation will meet leaders of various regional parties in different States.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mysura Reddy accused the ruling Congress of misusing Article (3) of the Constitution for political gain and harming the federal unity of the country. He said the YSRC would mobilise the support of other parties on the issue.

The political situation in the State and organisational issues will be discussed at a State-level meeting of the party to be held here on November 18. Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy will preside over the meeting, which will be attended by MLAs, MLCs, MPs and others, including coordinators in Lok Sabha and Assembly Constituencies.
