Issue notification for filling up two lakh posts: APCC

December 27, 2014 12:02 am | Updated 12:02 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee on Friday demanded State government to immediately issue notification for filling up two lakh job vacancies in various government departments.

APCC general secretaries Gidugu Rudraraju and Sudhakar Babu said the government should provide jobs to educated unemployed youth. They said the TDP in its election manifesto had promised a job for every household and to give unemployment allowance ranging from Rs.1,000 to Rs.2,000 per month. They demanded that the promise be fulfilled in toto.

They alleged that the TDP after coming to power, instead of creating new jobs, has removed about a lakh ‘Adarsa rythulu’, field assistants, contract employees and others on the excuse that they belonged to Congress.
