Independent candidate among 3 killed in Warangal accident

Three people, including an independent candidate, who recently contested from Jangaon Assembly seat, were killed in a road accident in Warangal on Tuesday.

According to information reaching here, Akula Sashidhar Rao, his sister Shailaja and their mother Premalatha were killed instantly when their car was hit by a speeding lorry coming in the opposite direction at Chinna Pendial village.

The mishap took place at around 5.30 am.

According to Kazipet DSP, K. Raji Reddy, Rao was practicing as advocate at district courts and was son of circle inspector Damodar Rao, who was killed in Jakaram landmine blast in 1996.
