The City of Pearls is emerging as the second best destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Exhibitions (MICE) in the country.
The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) report of 2014 released recently has recognised Hyderabad as one of the leading metros in India for MICE destinations, ranking only behind Delhi, and is on the fast track to becoming India’s Convention Capital.
A major catalyst for Hyderabad’s growth is its unique location and interesting benefits for both MICE and leisure travellers who can enjoy the world class infrastructure and experience warm hospitality and culture. HICC has contributed to Hyderabad’s growth as it is counted as one of the best in the world in infrastructure, service and technology.
The city hosted 18 prestigious meetings last year with Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) itself hosting 13 of those. Worldwide report has put India in the 35{+t}{+h}position while the USA tops the list.
