Twenty-one Bills passed during the 14 days it worked

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao on Friday adjourned the House sine die .

The House worked for 57 hours and 56 minutes over 14 working days. Twenty-one Bills were passed according to the data released by the Speaker. Two Bills were withdrawn. While 43 starred questions were answered, another 25 starred questions were tabled. While two short notice questions were answered orally, one was tabled in the House. Ministers made four statements; members 47 speeches, three reports presented and two notices were given under Rule 344 in the session.

The ruling Telugu Desam Party took the lion’s share of 42 hours and 0.09 minutes of the House. The main Opposition YSR Congress Party took 12 hours, the BJP the ally of the ruling party took 3 hours and 32 minutes. The time taken by independent member was 14 minutes and nominated member just one minute.

The Leader of the House took up 8 hours and 19 minutes; the Leader of the Opposition took up 3 hours and 46 minutes and BJP floor leader 3 hours and 13 minutes.
