Horticulture zone meet today

The YSR Horticulture University will be organising its research and advisory committee meeting on horticulture crops for the Rayalaseema zone at the ZP meeting hall here on Monday. Deputy Director (Horticulture) Dharmaja said that the meeting of all Rayalaseema districts such as Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool, Anantapur, and Nellore was being held in Chittoor for the first time. Horticulture scientists, officials and farmers from all the five districts would take part in the deliberations. YSR Horticulture University Vice-Chancellor Prof. B.M.C. Reddy will be the chief guest of the programme. The meeting is expected to lay special focus on the travails faced by mango growers.
