HMFW offices of Telangana, successor State to function from existing Koti campus

June 01, 2014 10:11 pm | Updated 10:11 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Following angry reactions from the Telangana medical staff, the government has decided not to shift the offices of Health, Medical and Family Welfare (HMFW) from Koti to Banjara Hills.

The HMFW offices of Telangana and the successor State of Andhra Pradesh will now share and function from the existing HMFW campus at Koti.

Suppressing the earlier Government order (G.O. Ms. No-210 dt May 30), the authorities have now issued a revised Government order (G.O. Ms. No-236, Dt. May 31) on sharing of the Koti campus between the health offices of the two States.

However, no change has been made in the shifting of the Department of Ayush of Government of Telangana, which will now function from the 5th floor of AP Government Life Insurance (APGLI) building, Tilak Road, Abids. The Department of Ayush of residual Andhra Pradesh will function out of the existing offices at Market Street, Secunderabad.
