Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had a hectic day in Beijing on Saturday as he held a series of meetings with leading Chinese companies and prospective investors at the hotel where he checked in.
The companies that were represented included Chongquing International Construction Corporation, Inspur Group of Companies, China Fortune Land Development Company (CFLDC), China Railway Corporation and SANY Group. Mr. Rao explained to them the facilities available in Telangana and, in return, they expressed their willingness to visit the State as early as possible for further discussions, a release here said. Chongquing corporation is an infrastructure company established in 1985 with a capital of $ 120 million and has branches in several countries including Sudan, Tanzania and UK. It has two projects in India, comprising a medical institute in Bihar and a light railway project in New Delhi. At his meeting with the president and CEO of Inspur, Mr. Rao was informed that the group was a leader in total solution and service producer of cloud computing in China. The group showed interest in starting operations in Telangana.
