HC imposes cost on Krishnapatnam port

A Division Bench of Hyderabad High Court comprising Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice M.Satyanarayana Murthy imposed a cost of Rs. 75,000 upon Krishnapatnam port, Navayuga enterprises. The bench did not appreciate the statements made by the petitioner who challenged the action of the authorities in not granting them tax exemption.

The bench found several of the statements misleading and imposed the costs expressing disapproval of such attitude.
