HC adjourns case on land pooling

Justice A.. Rajasekhar Reddy of the Hyderabad High Court on Thursday adjourned the cases filed by farmers, who gave lands for land pooling for building new capital of A.P. by two weeks.

The judge recorded the submission made by the Additional Advocate General of AP that the government will consider all the objections filed by the farmers as per rules and pass orders within a week. B. Sivarami Reddy and others filed a case in the High Court contending that they were small farmers and they were being deprived of livelihood. Government took the stand that the Act provides for filing objections and disposal of the same by the competent authority.

The Judge said the cases were being adjourned by two weeks as the government said within a week the objections were being considered.
