Rajya Sabha member of Telugu Desam N. Harikrishna on Sunday resigned his membership of the Upper House demanding justice for both Telangana and coastal districts on account of bifurcation of the State.

Mr. Harikrishna signed his resignation paper at his father NTR’s memorial and sent it to Rajya Sabha’s presiding officer. He said the Centre should make it clear on whose advice it has taken the decision on birfurcation without resolving issues relating to water sharing and the capital. AICC president, Sonia Gandhi had no right to divide State.
