Sikh community in Sangareddy celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrations with fervour on Tuesday.

Head priests from more than 10 Gurudwaras came here and participated in the celebrations. Sikh community recalls the journey from Nanded to Bidar taken up by Guru Nanak and his one day stay at Sangareddy. They strongly believe that the wishes of those who offer prayers here would be fulfilled by the Almighty.

Sikhs from neighbouring districts also came here and offered prayers. Cultural programmes were organised during the day. It’s a colourful evening at Sangareddy.
