Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activities and office bearers celebrated the 100 days of the party at office here on Tuesday. The enthusiastic cadres burst fire crackers at the TDP office and shared the joy with people and sympathisers.

Later, addressing a press conference, TDP district president Mr. Somisetty Venkateswarlu said that the TDP government had showed its mark in the last 100 days by attending to the key aspects of the State governance. Mr. Venkateswarlu further said that five grids of water, roads, power, gas and connectivity would usher in development in the State. “Above all, the government has won the confidence of investors who are making a beeline for the State to set up their units. The purified drinking water scheme, NTR Sujala and health card scheme will be implemented on October 2,” he said.

He said the government enhanced the retirement age limit of the employees to 60 years. Claiming stabilisation of power supply scenario as another major achievement of the government, he said that the situation was bad after the bifurcation. “Now, the State government is planning to provide 24-hour power supply to domestic consumers and industrial sectors as well,” he said , adding that the government would implement the loan waiver at any cost.
