In a second incident in a span of two months a dacoit gang robbed passengers of Hyderabad bound Chennai Express at Nadikudi railway station in Guntur in early hours of Thursday. The gang made away with gold ornaments from women passengers.

According to the railway police officials, a few persons pulled the chain and stopped the train between Nadikudi and Damacherla railway station a little after 2 a.m.

Later, the miscreants snatched the chains from the women passengers who were sitting near the windows in bogie number 10, 11 and 12 and fled under the cover of darkness.

The passengers later approached the Secunderabad railway police and lodged a complaint in the morning.

In April a gang of dacoits looted the passengers of the same train in a similar manner at Piduguralla railway station.
