Gang held on charge of killing banker

Police on Friday busted a three-member inter-State gang who was involved in several murder cases and dacoities. Speaking to reporters here, SP Raviprakash said the three accused - Sizo Chandran (34) from Delhi, Sunil Gayendra Gawade (29) from Madhya Pradesh and Banti Abhijit Gangadhar Mashram (19) from Maharashtra were involved in the murder of Central Bank of India (P. Timmapuram branch) General Manager Pasalapudi Anjaneyulu (24) on March 24.

The SP said Mr. Anjaneyulu had started from the bank on at 7.45 p.m. on that day and waiting for a bus for Tuni where he resided. However, he did not reach home, and his wife filed a complaint at S. Rayavaram police station. Next day (March 25), Anjaneyulu’s brother P. Ramarao found the former’s body in a field. Tuni Rural Inspector G. Chenna Kesava Rao formed five teams and arrested the gang members by sending teams to Odisha, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
