Games meet inaugurated

In-charge Vice-Chancellor of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, (JNTUK) B. Prabhakara Rao on Friday launched the fifth JNTUK Inter-Collegiate Inter-Zonal Games Meet for Men at the sports pavilion of the university here.

The three-day event was organised by the college sports committee and over 650 players from the districts are participating. Prof. Rao said that sports and games would help students develop self-confidence. Registrar G.V.R. Prasada Raju, programme director of games and sports D. Koteswara Rao and others were present.
