Funds promised for welfare schemes

Minister for Civil Supplies and in-charge of Srikakulam Paritala Sunita assured that the budget allocation would continue to be high for welfare schemes and supply of essential goods at subsidised rates.

Inaugurating a new storage point for Civil Supplies department in Market Yard in Amudalavalasa, she said the State government was allocating funds for welfare activities such as pensions, supply of goods at subsidised prices to help although the exchequer was in deep trouble after the bifurcation of the State.

Ms. Sunita assured to issue new ration cards for eligible persons.

Whip Kuna Ravikumar and others participated in the programmes.
