Five people buried alive in Nalgonda wall collapse

Five people including a sub-contractor got buried alive under a wall that collapsed following incessant rains at Pulichinthala project near Vaginepally village of Mellacheruvu mandal in Nalgonda district on Friday.

According to Mellacheruvu Police, the deceased were working at the Hydel project construction at Pulichinthala when the massive wall collapsed on them. The Police have retrieved four bodies. The Police have further said that at least one person was under the debris.

The four deceased were identified as Gopala Krishna, contractor from Mahabubnagar district, Byreddy Govinda Reddy, resident of Vaginepally village, Nandu Kol, native of Madhya Pradesh,Subbu Sukdey, native of Kolkatta. Another worker Kalyan was working at the site. Kalayan was buried under the debris.
