Actor Rakul Preet Singh air-dashed to the city from Hyderabad for the inauguration of a jewellery showroom at Deluxe Center here on Wednesday.
Braving 42 degrees Celsius, a large number of Rakul’s fans were seen waiting to have a glimpse of the actor at the showroom inaugurated by MLAs Dr. Akula Satyanarayana and Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, and Mayor Pantam Rajani Sesha Sai along with MLC Adireddy Apparao and former MLA Rowthu Surya Prakasha Rao in the morning.
Undeterred by the sweltering heat, she rushed to the showroom for which she is a brand ambassador.
During an interaction, she said that the year 2016 is good to her that she signed a film under the direction of Boyapati Srinu opposite Bellamkonda Sreenivas and in February with Surender Reddy's untitled film opposite Ram Charan.
