e-way bill procedure for sand supply

Minister for Rural development and Housing Kimidi Mrinalini on Monday launched e-way bill procedure for supply of sand at designated sand reaches at G. Singavaram on Monday.

The Minister examined the sand extraction and interacted with the staff inquiring the supply and demand.

She asked the staff that sand should not be priced higher than Rs. 500 a cubic meter and the consignment should be delivered immediately after order. Later, she interacted with sand loading workers. She held a meeting with officials on the revival of housing activity in a more transparent manner using Aadhar linkage and geo-tagging.
