‘Electricity Consumers Day’ on April 3

Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) will be observing ‘Electricity Consumers Day’ at its corporate office on April 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

APSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director H.Y. Dora on Tuesday, added that the same would be observed in district offices under the Discom’s purview in Nellore, Kadapa, Prakasam, Guntur and Vijayawada circles. “Consumers can visit the respective offices and relate their grievances to the officials. Awareness programmes on energy conservation and other aspects will also be held,” he maintained.

The day is celebrated to commemorate the foundation day of Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC), every year.
