Election Watch to move SC on NOTA

March 27, 2014 09:20 pm | Updated November 16, 2021 07:09 pm IST - ONGOLE:

The Ennikala Nigha Vedika (Election Watch) will move the Supreme court to ensure that ''none of the above'' (NOTA) choice is decided on the outcome of the poll process.

Its district president M. Nageswara Rao told reporters here on Thursday that though the Election Commission had introduced the NOTA option in the coming polls, the votes of those exercising the option would be considered as invalid presently.

“We will challenge this in the apex court,” he said.
