Candidates who have paid examination fee for the Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) 2014, to be held on May 30 all over the State, but have not submitted the application, can get duplicate hall tickets, Convenor of the test Nimma Venkata Rao said here on Tuesday.
Such a candidate can get duplicate hall ticket by submitting the fee receipt, identity proof and eligibility criteria for the methodology one day before the test to the Chief Superintendent of any examination centre in their city or town, Prof. Venkata Rao said.
Hall tickets are placed on the website www.apedcet.org for downloading by candidates and each candidate was informed of his or her hall ticket number, methodology and centre allotted through SMS. Hall ticket can be downloaded by entering the registration number and date of birth of the candidate.
If either the photograph or signature is not clear or not found on the hall ticket, the candidate should submit a passport size photograph or signature attested by a gazetted officer to the invigilator.
Candidates would not be permitted into the examination halls after 11 a.m. when the test commences and they are advised to reach Test Centre allotted to them by 10 a.m.
Answers must be marked on the OMR answer sheet with a HB pencil only. Otherwise, the OMR answer sheet would not be valid, Prof. Venkata Rao said. Candidates have to be bring HB pencil, a eraser, an sharpener, a writing pad and a ball point pen. Mathematical tables, calculators, calculator watches, rough papers, pagers, mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are not permitted into the examination hall, he added.
