721 gram panchayats covering 1,011 villages digitised, he says

Guntur district is leading in good governance and implementation of e-office systems.

District Collector Kona Sasidhar said that ‘Good governance-Corruption free society’ was the theme of the last day of ‘Nava Nirmana Deeksha’ to be held across the district on Friday.

Addressing public grievances was being given the highest priority through public interface programmes like Mee Kosam held every Monday, he said.

Under E-panchayat digitalization programme, 721 gram panchayats covering 1011 villages have been digitised, the Collector said.
