Explosive material, including 70 detonators and 29 gelatine sticks, besides 10 live rounds of 12-bore gun, were seized from a dhaba at Ganeshpadu village in Dammapeta mandal on Tuesday.
Acting on specific information, a police team raided the dhaba situated on the outskirts of the village in the afternoon. The team recovered explosive material concealed under a cover on the roof of the dhaba .
The police detained the organiser of the dhaba and his associate for questioning on the matter.
The seizure of live rounds of ammunition by the police triggered tension in the village.
