TDP Telangana Forum leader and MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao said he was unhappy with party president N. Chandrababu Naidu but he would not be leaving the party.
“I am unhappy because Mr. Naidu is not giving clarity on several issues. Just reiterating that party is committed to Telangana reconstruction is of no use,” Mr Dayakar Rao told The Hindu .
He added Mr. Naidu was not giving any clarity over the proposed alliance with the BJP.
Mr. Dayakar Rao also alleged that Mr. Naidu was not responding to the request to constitute a new party committee in Telangana State.
Referring to the rumours that he would be joining Congress, Mr. Dayakar Rao said he was not joining any party. “I will quit politics and stay at home,” he said.
He had planned to organize a meeting with the party cadre to decide about his future on Monday at the Thorrur mandal headquarters. However, he cancelled the meeting and asked the important mandal level leaders to come to Hyderabad.
It was believed that he would seek the opinion of his followers after which he was likely to resign from TDP Telangana Forum convenor position and also announce his next move whether to join Congress or any other party.
