Date extended for remitting Haj expenses

The Haj Committee of India has extended the date for remitting the first instalment of the Haj expenses of Rs. 81,000, from April 30 to May 9, a press release from the Telangana State Haj Committee informed on Friday. Provisionally selected Haj pilgrims who failed to deposit the first instalment, and those selected under Waiting List may avail the opportunity, the note said. So far, 2,530 pilgrims from Telangana and 1,798 pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh have deposited their passports in the office of the Haj committee.
