CPI asks its MLAs to resign

The Communist Party of India has asked all its four MLAs to submit to the party’s State leadership their resignations from the Assembly.

A final decision on their resignation letters would be taken at the party’s national executive meeting in Bangalore beginning on December 26.

Announcing this in a statement here on Friday, CPI State secretary K. Narayana demanded that the Centre come out with a specific action plan on the implementation of its announcement on initiating the process for formation of Telangana State on December 9.
