The court, however, turned down Mr. Jagan’s plea for visiting Guntur on October 4

The principal Special Court for CBI Cases here on Monday allowed Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy to visit Idupulapaya in Kadapa district to pay respects at his father’s memorial on October 1.

The court, however, turned down Mr. Jagan’s plea for visiting Guntur on October 4 for participating in a farmers’ rally there.

Counsel for CBI K. Surender argued against giving any relaxation in the bail conditions stating that Mr. Jagan was a highly influential person and there was every possibility that he could threaten witnesses if allowed to leave Hyderabad as most of the witnesses were staying outside the city.
