Cops told to be on alert

Superintendent of Police Navin Gulati instructed police officials and personnel on Tuesday to perform duties with alertness during Sri Seetha Rama kalyanam at Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple at Vontimitta.

Addressing the police officials and personnel, Dr. Gulati advised the police personnel to carry ORS packets and two-litre water bottles to tide over the heat wave and prevent dehydration. The SP allotted security duties to the police officers and personnel at the Police Parade Grounds in Kadapa. Thereafter the police officials and personnel left for Vontimitta.

Additional SP (Administration) P.V.G. Vijay Kumar, Kadapa DSP E.G. Ashok Kumar, Special Branch DSP M. Rajagopal Reddy, SC/ST Cell DSP L. Sudhakar and Kadapa One Town Circle Inspector Ramesh were present on the occasion.
