Collector makes surprise visit to SSC exam centres

Collector M. Veerabrahmaiah made a surprise visit to various examination centres to inspect the conduct of SSC examination in Karimnagar on Saturday.

The Collector inspected the Government Girls High School centre at Doctors Street and also Alphonse High School centre at Jyothinagar locality in the town. He informed the authorities concerned to make arrangements to provide adequate drinking water to the students appearing for the examinations in the wake of sweltering heat conditions.

He said that they had deployed 14 flying squads to ensure that there were no malpractices in the district. He said that the examinations were being held in 284 centres and a total of 65,453 students were writing the SSC exams in the district. DEO K Lingaiah and others were also present.
