: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will formally hand over allotment letters of developed residential and commercial plots to landowners in Nelapadu, who have given their lands as part of the Land Pooling Scheme. The CRDA is busy completing the layout on paper and later peg marks would be laid for residential and commercial plots.
The programme, scheduled for June 20, was postponed because of rain. Mr. Naidu, who is leaving on a four-day tour to China, will hand over allotment letters to about 800 farmers who have given away about 1,000 acres in the village at a programme to be held at the CRDA office in Thullur. Later, the CM will open the NTR Canteens on the premises where the Interim Government Complex is coming up at Velagapudi Minister for Civil Supplies Paritala Sunitha has confirmed the programme. On his way back, Mr. Naidu will also lay the foundation stone for a four-lane road at Venkatapalem village which is among the 16 roads proposed to be laid towards the seed capital. On June 24, Mr. Naidu would take part in Iftar celebrations to be held at Sannidhi Function Hall. Collector Kantilal Dande said the Iftar celebrations have been given status of a State event.
