CM seeks national research bodies

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu urged the Centre to establish national research institutions in the State at the earliest. Mr. Naidu made the request when Union Minister for Science and Technology Harsh Vardhan called on him on Friday.

He said the State government accorded high priority to science and technology and explained various initiatives taken up like e-cabinet, e-secretariat and e-PoS system in Public Distribution System. He said all welfare schemes were linked with Aadhar and sought Centre’s help in setting up start-ups and incubation centres.
