Clean drive by NDRF, SCR

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), in association with Mangalagiri Municipality staff, planted saplings and participated in ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ in Mangalagiri on Tuesday.

Assistant Commandant D.N. Singh, municipal chairman Ganji Chiranjeevi, vice-chairman Sankara Balaji, commissioner Nageswara Rao and other officials participated in the plantation programme.

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, officials of the South Central Railway (SCR) participated in a cleanliness drive at various places. Divisional Railway Manager R. Dhananjayulu, Additional DRM K. Venugopal Rao and officers of different wings inspected the station and other railway offices and cleaned the premises.
