Chittoor SP receives Indian Police Medal

Superintendent of Police Ghattamaneni Srinivas received the coveted Indian Police Medal from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Independence Day celebrations at Anantapur on Monday.

Mr. Srinivas, currently in the special grade DIG rank, is instrumental in undertaking a number of inter-State raids, including on the Indo-Bhutanese border, resulting in nabbing of half a dozen Chinese nationals involved in red sanders smuggling, in addition to arresting over 50 notorious international and inter-state smugglers.
