The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science & Technology (APCOST) will organise State-level 25th National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) on December 3 and December 4 at Rise Engineering College at Valluru, Ongole in Prakasam district. The event is expected to draw participation of 400 people including students, teachers and district coordinators from across the State.
At the district-level, students had presented 3341 projects on the theme “Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development with Special Emphasis on Accessibility for Persons with Disability”. Of them, 134 projects were short-listed for the State-level event.
Seventeen projects from Andhra Pradesh will be selected for a four-day national-level event scheduled from December 27 at Science City in Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
Another set of projects will be presented at the 105th Indian Science Congress-2018, scheduled to take place at Osmania University in Hyderabad from January 3 to January 7.
The Inaugural function of the event is scheduled at 10 a.m. on January 3.
