CCTV cameras on Nannaya varsity campus

Adikavi Nannaya University Vice-Chancellor M. Muthyala Naidu has said that several crucial decisions were taken at the Executive Council meeting held on Monday.

In a press release, he said the decisions included implementing bio-metric system for the students and the staff, setting up CC cameras on the campus and sanctioning incentives to NSS programme officers and students on par with NCC students.

He said it had been decided to enhance the transport allowance from Rs. 900 to Rs. 1,350 for physically challenged persons.

He said the executive council had also resolved to put pressure on the government to affiliate law, engineering and pharmacy colleges along with PG centres in Kakinada and Tadepalligudem with the University. They are now affiliated with the Andhra University.

Mr. Muthyala Naidu said that the meeting had also resolved to sign MoUs with prominent research institutes to encourage research activities in the university and decided to bring D.E cadre officer on deputation to monitor construction works in the university.
