Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao and two senior IAS officers -- Manmohan Singh and M. Samuel figured prominently in the 177-page charge-sheet submitted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to the Principal Special Court for CBI cases in the disproportionate assets case against Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy here on Monday.
This is the fourth chargesheet in the assets case against Mr. Jagan, which is totally devoted to irregularities in the implementation of Vadrevu and Nizampatnam Ports & Industrial Corridor (VANPIC) project in Prakasam and Guntur districts.
The CBI has been filing chargesheets one after the another against companies that invested in Mr. Jagan’s businesses as quid pro quo for benefits that they got from the government. Aurobindo, Hetero and Ramky groups of companies besides Jagati Publications were charge-sheeted earlier.
Mr. Jagan and his financial advisor V. Vijay Sai Reddy continue to top the list of accused in the instant chargesheet too. They were followed in that order by Nimmagadda Prasad, who controlled VANPIC Projects Private Limited, former minister Mopidevi Ventakaramana Rao, R&B Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, former Special Secretary K.V. Brahmananda Reddy, now Principal Secretary Manmohan Singh, now Principal Secretary M. Samuel, Nimmagadda Prasad’s younger brother N. Prakash, VANPIC Projects Private Limited, Jagati Publications, Bharati Cement, Carmel Asia Holdings and Silicon Builders.
The last four named companies and Jagati Publications are owned by Mr. Jagan himself. The CBI staff shifted to the court the charge-sheet and large quantity of documents in nine trunks.

These guys deserves JAIL for life-term. Take all the money from them and use for poor people education and wel-fare. Govt. and media should educate AP people and bring awareness of these people's corruption. AP people should relealize what these did for them. These guys are making some wrong statements and making people to belive that. I request CBI through The Hindu here, please don't let these guys out of JAIL, particularly, Jagan Reddy. Get the proof of his corruption and make sure he stay in JAIL for his life.
This is just a tip of the iceberg.Many more thousands of crores have been stolen in the mega Irrigation projects on which there is no investigation as yet.Y.S.Rajasekhar is undoubtedly the most corrupt CM in India by sheer numbers.Even US cables were sent on Y.S.Rajasekhar's corruption as revealed by Wikileaks as to how he was duping the poor people with Populist schemes.Y.S.R and his accomplice mega mining mafia Gali Reddy were raised by Cong and BJP for their short term political greed and the two became so big in the end it was classic case of 'Riding a Tiger'.Only a strong Janlokpal with an Independent CBI can control this alarming downfall of Indian society which the govt is dead against.
These guys should be hanged without delay in hearings.
