Labour Minister K. Atchannaidu on Saturday called for people’s participation in the “war against mosquitoes” by taking it up as a social responsibility.

Speaking as chief guest in a meeting on “war against mosquitoes - cleanliness of surroundings” at the outdoor stadium here, he wanted the five crore people of the State to take part in the drive to make the State mosquito-free. A humanistic attitude and health of people was vital for the comprehensive development of a place, he said.
