BSNL to webcast polling

The BSNL made arrangements for webcasting of polling process at 239 booths during municipal elections and majority of 3,284 booths in general elections.

Talking to reporters here on Saturday, General Manager P. Padmanabham said the organisation was augmented coverage area by installing 317 2G mobile towers and 66 3G towers in the district. He said special staff was deputed to ensure fool-proof arrangements for poll coverage by coordinating with the district poll authorities. He said the BSNL would hold customer meet at the end of every month to know the feedback from customers and address their grievances on the spot.
