Sri Brahmrishi Ashram at C. Ramapuram near Tirupati has announced the launch of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ project across the country by supporting education of one lakh girl students. To begin with, the programme will be launched in the Ramachandrapuram mandal of Chittoor district, where the Ashram is located. Educational kits will be distributed free of cost to children of nearby schools under the scheme.

The well-meaning programme will be taken up as part of ‘Sri Siddheswar Mahotsav 2016’, a unique programme combining devotion and social responsibility which is under way at the Ashram. Akin to Mahakaleshwar shrine in Ujjain, ‘Bhasm Aarti’ is performed for Shri Brahmeshwar Mahadev everyday at 4 am here, which mesmerises the audience. It’s a bliss for devotees from across the country to hear recital of Sri Ram Katha and Shiv Puran, coupled with live performance by artistes from Kolkata, said festival committee members Pramod Paliwal and Prakash Sethia. Visitors can also offer prayers to the ‘12 Jyotirlingas’ recreated here.

Natural justice system

Similarly, a special talk on ‘Natural justice system and its integrated parts’ will be delivered by Justice Dalveer Bhandari, a judge at the International Court of Justice, said Anil Bimal, a retired judge of Haryana and an organiser here.
