Sri Bhadradri Seetharamaiah Swamy temple brahmotsavams will be performed on April 8 and 9, temple committee member Yeturu Ramachandra Reddy said on Sunday.
The brahmotsavams will commence with punyahavachanam and kalasthapana at 6 a.m. on the day of Sri Rama Navami festival on April 8, he said. Ganapathi homam and pooja, Lakshminarayana Hrudaya homam, Navagraha, nakshatra, Sudarshana, ayushu, manya sookta and sarpasooktha homam will be performed from 8 a.m. on April 8, he added.
Ganapathi pooja, swasthivachanam and panchamruthabhishekam will be performed on April 9. Sri Seetharama Swamy kalyana mahotsavam will be performed between 10.28 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. Birrubandi lagudu competitions will be held from 2 p.m. and winners will be presented cash prizes, Mr. Ramachandra Reddy said.
