Suspense over the re-allotment of Nellore Rural seat ended on Wednesday with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) getting a go-ahead from its ally TDP to retain the seat.

Meanwhile, TDP polit bureau member Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy has reportedly given up his stance of not contesting from anywhere except Nellore Rural. Now, he is expected to file nomination papers for Sarvepalli soon.

BJP leader S. Suresh Reddy intensified his campaign for his victory as the alliance candidate in Nellore Rural.
